We had Ike up for a visit this weekend. He blew the Sunday paper clear down the street at 76 miles an hour. We Grove Citians are quite proud to have experienced this along with tornado warnings and a 24 hour snowfall total of 18 inches this year.

So, if you're lookin' for a real excitin' place to live, swing by GC on the SW side. Something's bound to blow our way. Or fall from the sky!

PS, there are no pics of this hurricane force wind, cause you can't see wind. Duh. For real, I was afraid to take the camera outside, I figured it would end up smooshed into our neighbor's car door!
