Squeaks and squeals of babies...the 4 legged variety.

Andrew and I are big animal lovers. So much, in fact that we visit an animal shelter in Columbus to see if the need any help. When we stopped in on Saturday the 25th, there was some talk about us fostering 2 6 week old kittens with the option to adopt them. Hold your tail! We are at capacity for permanant pets in this house, but we can handle 2 kittens for a month or so. I picked them up last night and now they are in Ravens old crate throwing a big party.
The shelter said she would like them to weigh more than 2 pounds so they can be vaccinated and fixed before going back to the shelter. Right now, they probably weigh 1.5 pounds each.
I'm doing a pretty good job of not getting attached but Andrew seems to have a special place in his heart for the one we call Tiger. They squeak when I come into the room, and wiggle their front legs trying to get out of the crate...so cute...MUST resist!!

In other semi-related news, I have an interview with a local animal hospital on Thursday. Cross your fingers and tails. I really really want this job.
I'll try to post some pics of all our furry footed kids when I finally figure it out!

What! We're foster grandparents and you didn't tell us??? We need to know this stuff! How wonderful! Like Gail said, "We need pix!" HINT: That would take a digital camera and a memory card. Do you two have one?
